What it’s made from: A Seagrass called Water Hyacinth. This seagrass is a pest plant that must be harvested to unblock waterways from much needed sun and oxygen.  Using this waste-product to create beautiful homewares helps support the clearing of these plants which in turn promotes the ecological health of waterways in South East Asia.
